Aluminium

Aluminium and Non-Ferrous Metal Welding

Although many metals can be TIG welded, aluminium is associated with the process most frequently, especially for thinner section material due to the less robust nature of the parent metal.

Pure Argon is the most commonly used gas, however, there are a variety of argon helium mixtures more suited to welding thicker section.

When choosing the appropriate gas, please verify compatability with your welding wire.
